Autonomous gimballess magnetometric inclinometer (MI) is designed to measure inclination angle, directional readings, whipstock positioning angle and the vertical depth of deviated and horizontal open wells, may be installed into hardwire telemetric bottom-hole systems as well. The advantages of the given MI over similar CIS magnetometric inclinometers are the following: MI provides continuous and point inclinometry and their prompt alignment; in MI a “control-test” is foreseen, allowing to automatically control tool operation efficiency during the process of work and minimize tests before well descent; - the MI is designed as a modular construction, allowing to reduce the volume of maintenance and repair works. The system software allows you to promptly receive intermediary results of the inspection of the vertical depth and the well angle in graphic and numeric form, inspect its every section in detail.
