GIMBALLESS
INCLINOMETER
GYROSCOPIC
MULTIPLEPOINT
CONTINUOUS
IGMC-89-180/120
|
Gimballess gyroscopic inclinometer (GI) is designed to measure directional
readings, inclination angle, whipstock declination and its position to the
apsidal plane of the well depending on the depth*1 of deviated and
horizontal, cased and open wells, may be installed into hardwire
telemetric bottom-hole systems as well.
The advantages of the given GI over similar CIS inclinometers are the
following:
the
GI does not require initial positioning on the ground;
with
the GI the measurements can be taken when powered at any well point;
the
GI provides continuous and point inclinometry and their prompt alignment;
the
GI provides the taking of fixed measurements irrespective of the time the
measurements of the inclined well are taken. The measurements are taken
in real time;
depending on the accuracy of inclinometric measurements required the user
can vary the time of data entry in the point mode;
the
GI provides long-term continuous inclinometry owing to special work modes
that allow to minimize the integration error;
in
GI a “control-test” is foreseen, allowing to:
a)
minimize tests before well descent without the use of the inclinometric
table;
b)
automatically control the integrity of the measurements taken during the
process of work;
c)
automatically control angular and linear tool stillness during station
time;
- the
GI is designed as a modular construction, allowing to reduce the volume of
maintenance and repair works.
The system software allows you to promptly receive intermediary results of
the investigation and the well angle in graphic and numeric form, inspect
its every section in detail.
